Just a couple of weeks ago while I was watching the TV, there was a race that ran from Vegas to Reno. It was a desert race with cars and trucks that look like RC Cars/Trucks you find through out the United States. Either at local stores, hobby shops and the internet. This race runs approximately 1000 miles starting in Vegas through the desert and ending in Reno. Each day held new adventures for the drivers after driving over 300 miles, then they stop for the night and begin the next day. It was quite fun to watch!
Some of the RC cars/trucks that can run in the desert or anywhere are little be smaller as you know. They are the HPI brama ready-to-run, Traxxas Bandit Extreme Sports Buggy and the Venom Gambler truck. All of these would feel like you’re really in a race. So if you are in it for fun, these are only a few vehicles you’ll find, there are so many more. You can find monster trucks, buggies, rock crawlers, racing either electric radio controlled or nitro powered. Also if cars/trucks are not what you prefer there are airplanes, boats and helicopters ( that actually can be flown inside your home). So you see, there are a lot of options a person can select and enjoy with their sons, daughters, friends or even the whole family.
Some people take their RC cars/trucks very seriously about actual competitions they have with friends or at organized racing and off road challenges. If you’re into that type of competition you can find these events around the US by the internet or your local hobby shop. But for me it’s just seeing what the RC cars and trucks can do. Remember what ever you do always have FUN!!
